Provenance of the Hatchwell Family, Captain Robert Hatchwell, conducted a navigational school in Lyttelton which John King Davis and other Antarctic expedition members attended.
Another item of Antarctic interest is a collection of papers and photographs from the collection Wing Commander John Claydon from the 1955-58 Trans Antarctic Expedition.

I have decided the time has come for me to retire at the end of this year, following our final Rare Book Auction.
After 25 years working in the world of books, I have made a large number of friends and met many people. I would like to thank them all for their support and help.
