Rapid Chess Tournament 5 Rounds Swiss

$20 Registration Fee. ​

After Signing up, you'll be receiving an Invoice via email Under Stripe. The invoice will have an additional 1$ fee. ​It is highly recommended to Signup earlier in case the event is canceled, postponed, and/or relocated.

Only Those who have signed up will be receiving Updates about the Tournament. ​

The Venue was gracious enough to provide the space for free. Please by a drink or 2 while at the venue. ​

Unless everyone is present, Check-in begins at 12:15 p.m. Check in ends at 12:30 p.m. ​If you think you'll be late, send me a messsge via Instagram (@thechessmaverick) or send me an email via [email protected]. ​

Online payments needs to be sent virtually before 12:30p.m. to hold your spot. In person registration will be available given spots are available. ​

Rapid Tournament --> 10+0 each side, max 20 min per game. A win is one point to the winner, a draw is half a point to each player, a loss is 0 points to the loser. ​

There are 5 rounds in total. The top 3 players will be given prizes. Playing an illegal move forfeits the game unless otherwise granted a take-back by your opponent. However, please note that they are not obligated to give you one. The same hand that hits the clock also moves the pieces. No two handed play unless adjusting pieces.

When castling, touch the king first. Touch move / clock move is agreed upon by you and your opponent. In the event of an illegal move, king capturing is permitted (do not be surprised if someone takes your king) ​ ​
