A walk to explore Durham’s green space around Crook Hall Gardens, its wildlife and learn about the work National Trust rangers do.
Venture into nature with our ranger Jason to learn about local nature, look out for birds and find interesting insects.
Booking not needed. Free - donations are welcome and will help care for Crook Hall Gardens and the green corridor.
Meet in the car park near the Garden Gate Café/entrance. Toilets are available in the café before and after the walk.
There are no amenities along the route so please bring a drink, insect repellent, sun cream and weather appropriate clothing.
Some uneven surfaces and slopes.
Children of all ages are welcome, must be accompanied by an adult.
