Randy is Joel Knight, Joshua Belshaw, Judah and Sam
Hooper—four brothers from the North. After a few gigs, their chemistry was undeniable, and Randy was born.
Inspired by Oasis’ ability to unite the masses, The
1975’s creativity and cultural relevance, Mk.gee’s raw
energy, and Fontaines D.C. ’s big guitar sound, Randy shapes these influences into a sound that’s unmistakably theirs. This ‘New-Wave’ British indie band channels 90s Brit-pop with music rooted in the grit and humour of Northern life.
In Blackpool, where grey skies meet grey seas, Randy finds beauty in the ordinary. Their alt-pop/indie rock sound blends bright riffs, sharp lyrics, and sticky hooks, creating relatable, deeply personal songs. They’re not chasing gold—they’re proving silver can shine just as bright.
