⭐️ West Coast Ranch Horse is excited to add one more show to our 2025 schedule! Join us for our Ranch Horse Challenge show on March 30th at Green Acres Ranch! This is a one day show with its own set of awards including buckles for all divisions and $250 for the high point Open and Amateur riders! Details and entry coming soon on our website! ⭐️🪵This event aims to provide exhibitors with more experience with the “ranchier” elements of the ranch classes including roping, dragging a feed bunk, working with cattle, and common ranch tasks. Members will also be introduced to the “ranch pleasure” class, where exhibitors follow instructions on signs to exhibit different gaits instead of gaits being called as in a traditional ranch rail class. 🪵
🐂The Ranch Work Team Challenge is going to be a blast and will be held at the lunch break. Teams of two will be judged on their ability to navigate simulated ranch tasks efficiently such as roping, trailer loading, fence building/repair, covering ground in the pasture, dragging calves to the branding fire, working gates, etc.🐂
✨A clinic will be held on Saturday, March 29th also at Green Acres. Jando Guerra will be teaching clinics on Ranch Trail. Ranch Riding and Ranch Pleasure while Johnny Flores will be teaching two Ranch Horse 101 clinics as well as a rope handling and drag clinic. Brush up on your skills before showing on Sunday!
