We're having a Ram Party! With plenty of race options for everybody centered around the beautiful Rampart Reservoir in Woodland Park, Colorado, you're sure to have a good time while you take in the epic views of Pikes Peak and the front range.
NOTE: We are offering both a out and back 50K that climbs up Rampart Range and point to point 55K that begins near the reservoir and finishes at the Buffalo Lodge. Please read the details of each distance to ensure you sign up for the one you prefer.
The 50 mile, 50K, 24K, and 15K races that start and finish at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort will be held on Saturday, May 18th. Runners will head through the beautiful rock formations of Garden of the Gods before heading up, up, up Rampart Range Road.
50K, 24K, and 15K runners turnaround at their given aids and bomb back downhill, whereas the 50 Mile runners circle Rampart Reservoir before heading back down.
A point to point 55K option (also held Saturday, 5/18) will also be held where runners will take off from the Boy Scout camp near the Rainbow Gulch Trailhead, running on trails around the Rampart Reservoir before following the ever scenic Rampart Range Road all the way down to Colorado Springs, finishing at the Buffalo Lodge.
The 16K, 24K, and 33K runners will toe the line on Sunday, May 19th at the Glen Aspen Boy Scout camp. 33K runners circle the reservoir once while the 16K, and 24K will follow the same route to the reservoir, grabbing views of the iconic peaks reflecting off the water before heading back to the finish .
The gorgeous singletrack and expansive views can't be beat. Pikes Peak will be smiling down on you the entire run as you weave through the multiple inlets and outlets of the scenic reservoir. Pines, aspens and smooth trail conditions make for a fun experience regardless of what distance you choose.
