When: 9 AM to 4:20 PM January 20, 2025
Where: Dupont Circle, Washington DC then March the 2025 Inauguration on the National Mall
Do you have a safe place to make your voice heard during this coming Inauguration other than screaming into your pillow? Neither do we.... but... if there are enough of us maybe you'll have the guts to join as we march on Washington, DC to witness day one of the end.
Does the chaos of modern discourse remind you of feedback on a microphone? Do you long for a thoughtful dialogue, reasoned debate, good music and maybe, just a little healthy fear? Let's turn off the TV, iPad, cell phone, computer and pagers and meet IRL when we make Inauguration history in one of the sanest or scariest ways possible -- a National Park Service permit and toilets!
The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear 2.0 is your chance to embrace the best of both worlds: the calm reason that makes society stable and the razor sharp edge of fear that keeps us alert inspired and stocking toilet paper. Whether you’re a pragmatist yearning for EU citizenship or a firebrand affordable housing activist ready to set up a squat in Congress, you are welcome to speak into our hot mics and mobile sound system.
What to Expect:
• Short Speeches to stir the mind and the heart.
• Performances that will either soothe your soul or shake you to the core.
• A community of people who believe in engaging with the world meaningfully—with a smile and/or ICE SCREAM!
Dress to impress or like you just rolled out of bed—but come ready to make your voice heard.

Bring your wit, your signs, and your passion as we march through history together. Let’s ensure that our voices—reasoned, absurd, or otherwise—are heard loud and clear.

(We are applying for a permit for a gathering spot at Dupont Circle but the march itself will not be under a permit. Most streets will be closed heading downtown anyway and some folks will stay in the circle all day. )
