Rally for World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

Join BikeWalkKC for a rally supporting survivors and victims of road traffic violence and their loved ones! Gather on the steps of City Hall to hear from community leaders and our neighbors, and call on our local government to commit to safer streets and an end to traffic violence in our region.

We will be helping folks connect to local efforts for safer streets and inviting creative and courageous thinking to find solutions to traffic deaths and injuries in the KC metro. We encourage participants to bring signs that honor loved ones killed or injured in traffic crashes, or a message of support for safe streets for everyone.

The number of traffic victims has increased each year, and we believe that because traffic violence is preventable, we have to dedicate our time and resources to repairing the root issues and saving lives.
