Ring in the New Year with something exciting! Join us for a clue-filled treasure hunt through Downtown Raleigh’s parks, landmarks, and hidden gems—all starting and ending at Nash Square Park.
This event is perfect for adults looking for a fresh adventure and a chance to win cash prizes on the very first day of the year.
🔎 How the Treasure Hunt Works
Participants will gather at Nash Square Park and receive their first clue at check-in.
You’ll embark on a walking adventure through:
- Downtown Raleigh streets
- Small parks and urban spaces
- Local landmarks
- Historic and interesting hidden spots
You can participate solo or as a team—whatever feels more fun!
Each clue guides you one step closer to discovering one of our hidden cash prize locations.
How the Cash Prizes Work
- Tickets are $25 per person
- The jackpot starts at $50
- Every 15 tickets sold adds $50 to the jackpot
- Every 15 tickets sold adds $50 to the jackpot
- Every 15 tickets sold adds $50 to the jackpot
The more people who enter, the more the pot will grow.

Ticket proceeds help fund the cash jackpot and support the operation of Treasure Xplorers events, including organizing and hosting future hunts.

We will meet in front of the Firefighters’ Memorial statues located inside Nash Square Park.
These bronze statues are a clear, recognizable landmark and serve as our check-in point and finish line.

Arrive a few minutes early.
Bring comfortable shoes, your phone, and be ready to explore downtown Raleigh.
Your first clue will be given at check-in.

Each ticket is valid for up to two participants working together as one team.
If more than two people plan to participate, additional tickets must be purchased.
Example:
- 1 ticket = up to 2 participants
- 3–4 participants = 2 tickets
- 5–6 participants = 3 tickets
This helps keep the event fair and the prize pool balanced.
