Rakhtabha is an evocative solo Kathak-based theatrical production that explores the powerful duality of the colour red – as a symbol of a woman’s radiance, fertility, love, and simultaneously, her resistance, rage, and divine strength. The performance dives deep into feminine energy across time – invoking the sacred, the sensual, and the shakti through traditional Kathak vocabulary, literature, and contemporary expression.
