Join author Erica Lee for a conversation about her deeply personal memoir, The Bond Between Us, a moving reflection on the journey of raising neurodivergent children.
In her memoir, Erica shares her experience raising two neurodivergent children, one with complex health challenges and the other navigating unseen internal struggles.
Through her evolving understanding of autism and neurodivergence within her family, Erica offers an honest account of the joys, uncertainties, setbacks and triumphs that shape everyday life.
Her story will resonate with parents and carers seeking connection, encouragement and recognition of the remarkable work they do each day, while also providing valuable insight for educators, professionals and anyone interested in understanding the experiences of contemporary families.
Following the talk, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with Erica and explore the themes of advocacy, self-care, resilience and belonging that are at the heart of her book.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase on the evening, courtesy of Boundless Books.
