Come for a fun and interactive workshop where you will learn everything you need to know about raising meat rabbits from the owner of Little Feather Farm. At the workshop, you will be provided with a binder full of information and valuable resources. Talking points will include different methods, common problems and solutions, rabbit health, climate, breeding management, rabbitry setups, and general how-tos. You will tour the setup at Little Feather Farm, see breeding and handling practices, and participate in a butchering demonstration. There will be lots of time for Q&A. Children are welcome!
Come prepared with appropriate footwear and clothes for spending time outside on a farm. Things you might want to bring with you are a water bottle, notebook, something to write with, snacks, and a sack lunch, or plan on getting something during the lunch break.
Tickets:
- $85 per individual
- $105 for a couple from the same household (designed for married couples
-Kids are free
Tickets are Non-Refundable, but are Transferrable. If you wish to transfer your ticket or are not able to attend, please contact us within 72 hours prior to the event.
