Author Maria Gallucci will discuss her book Raised in Silence and her experience growing up as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults). Gallucci will explore the complexities of growing up between Deaf and hearing worlds, reflecting on themes of communication, culture, identity, and connection. An ASL interpreter will be present for this event. Additionally, a limited supply of FM assistive listening devices will be available. Boulder Public Library District Presents... (BPLD Presents) is a series of cultural, civic and creative happenings that focus on learning about, and building, the community that our library serves. Explore the calendar of events for the Canyon Theater and art exhibitions. Please use the North Side Canyon Entrance if arriving after 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in both the Canyon and Arapahoe lots. To reach the theater from the Arapahoe lot, you can cross the creek using the exterior bridge. Doors for after hours events typically close 30 minutes after the event starts.
