Raise the Bar Female Stand-up Comedy Allstars - June Edition!

After a spectacular debut in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Raise the Bar is back to doing its acclaimed monthly shows. We are back this June with another incredible show on June 27 at the magical StoryVille!

Storyville is a spectacular venue right in the CBD (185 Lonsdale Street, entry via laneway). They have the finest, most bewitching cocktails and plenty of non-boozy options. It's got everything we need to have the best time.

Our June lineup is off the charts and features some of the best female acts in the country:

• Meg Jager - RAW Comedy finalist, Comedy Zone
• Aarti Vincent - actor and comic from Delhi with rave reviews under her belt
• Jordan Barr - Festival Roadshow, Co-host of Weekend Arvos on triple j
• Tess Birch - Breast of the Fest
• Lauren Bok - award-winning comedian and burlesque jester
• Amna Bee - Pakistani-Canadian writer & comic, producer of Raise the Bar Comedy
• Laura Rose - RAW Comedy State finalist

And as extra treat, your special host for the evening is Prue Blake. Prue Blake is a strong, confident, underachiever by choice… or she was before she became the 2020/21 RAW Comedy Winner! Prue has been described as both “dashing” and a “disillusioned feminist” by The Age. She's a killer MC and we can't wait for her to host this night!
