Come and celebrate the 21st birthday of Bubba “Rain” Te’i on Friday, November 22 at the Fale Sāmoa at 141 Bader Drive, Māngere. She will be wearing contemporary tapa/siapo and she encourages her guests to wear their fave traditional fall colours - brown, orange (? her fave colour) and earth tones. While it’s spring here in Aotearoa - in her country of birth (Japan) it will be autumn and the trees are turning vivid shades of orange, yellow and red. In her other home (USA) they will be celebrating the harvest and giving thanks for their blessings! ?
