Join CLWA's Executive Director Emily DeBolt for a special talk during Lakes Appreciation Month focused on how rain gardens can help protect Canandaigua Lake. Learn how these simple, attractive landscape features capture and filter stormwater, reducing runoff that carries nutrients and pollutants into the lake. We’ll cover how rain gardens work, where to place them, what plants to use, and how homeowners can install and maintain their own. We will have a chance to see some plants in action in the new rain garden in the Wood Library's garden.
