East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District is excited to partner with Columbia Slough Watershed Council to present an Rain Gardens 101 workshop!

Adding a beautiful rain garden to your yard can help protect local streams and reduce flooding. Learn how to assess your property for the best rain garden location and size, choose the right plants, and how to construct and maintain your rain garden.

• Water: We recommend participants bringing a reusable water bottle to reduce single use plastic.

• Interaction level: Low. This is a presentation-style workshop with a presenter sharing the majority of the information. There are opportunities for participants to ask questions throughout the presentation. Participation is optional.
