Then, growth. Blades of grass burst through the earth. Fresh buds spring from tree branches. Flowers bloom. Life returns.
Just as a seed, sunlight, soil, and rain so magically combine to create life, our hope is that our pieces come together to form something greater, perhaps something magical!
Join us in "Rain" - a show not only seeks to entertain but tell a story, through a variety of aerial and ground acts built around a powerful and personal narrative. Each performer's act will interpret a particular emotional state along the journey, expressed in their own ways. It integrates various forms of performing arts, including mesmerizing object manipulation and astonishing aerial circus acts. Don’t miss out!

Based in rainy Vancouver, we are a group of friends from various backgrounds who connected through circus. Together, we decided to use our different strengths to form a non-profit organization whose objective is to create performing opportunities for developing circus artists like ourselves in our community.
In spite of its growing popularity, circus remains somewhat of a small world. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. At Circus Petrichor, we truly believe that there is a circus artist in all of us and our mission is to expose a greater portion of the population to this evolving art form. Our vision is that more people will take home the magic of the circus.
