Rain Barrel Workshop

If you want to purchase a rain barrel, you will need to do that BEFORE the class, barrels will not be for sale the day of the class. If you plan to purchase after the class, please contact [email protected] to coordinate your pick up.

During this class you will learn how the use of rain barrels can conserve water, save money by reducing the use of potable water in landscapes (lower utility bills), and reduce stormwater runoff by storing and diverting runoff from impervious surfaces (like roofs). Practical tips on the construction and installation of rain barrels will be provided. Please register for this event ONLY at ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com rather than any third party websites, as they are not affiliated with our classes and events.

Rain barrels will be available for pickup until 11:30a.m. the day of the workshop. If you would like to take home a rain barrel(s), please complete your purchase by 12:00p.m. on November 19th by clicking the green ‘tickets’ button. Only barrels purchased prior to that date and time will be available after the workshop for pickup. If you would prefer to wait until after the workshop to decide on a barrel purchase or you are unable to pickup your barrel(s) at the scheduled time, please email [email protected] with subject line ‘Rain Barrel’.
