Raiments is a Greek-South African multi-instrumentalist who formed as a group in Los Angeles and was then based in Berlin as a 5 piece, recording two albums. Currently based in Edinburgh, Raiments is now recording and touring as a solo act using a bowed acoustic guitar to express avant-garde drone-scapes, funk infused off-kilter lyrics and nostalgic melodies. Ethnographic style merged with classical experimental but always fun. Raiments has toured in the UK, Germany, Italy and Greece including Fusion Festival (GER), Liberation Day Festival Rome (ITA), Sonne über Berlin Festival (GER), Occupy Los Angeles Protests (USA), Ostsee Küsse Festival (GER), Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (USA), Kelburn Festival (UK)
