We are hosting our 60th Annual Railroad Days model train open house on December 6–7, 2025; January 3–4 and 10–11, 2026; February 21–22 and 28, 2026; and March 1, 2026. All events run from 1 PM to 4 PM at 900 East Macada Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Join us as we continue a cherished holiday tradition with two full floors of continuously operating model trains.
The first floor features a 650‑square‑foot O, On30, and S scale layout showcasing steam locomotives from the golden age of railroading as well as modern diesel power. Visitors will experience realistic sights and sounds, operating semaphores and signals, and even have the opportunity to control select accessories.
Upstairs, the 800‑square‑foot HO scale layout offers a wide variety of trains in motion, including a nearly 100‑car military train pulled by multiple locomotives. A trolley line travels between a village and a distant amusement park complete with an operating ski lift and rides. The roundhouse area continues to evolve with new improvements each season.
A donation of $5 per person is appreciated, and children 12 and under are admitted free. Families with children under 40 inches tall are encouraged to bring a step stool to help them see the displays more easily. Pre‑owned trains, structures, accessories, and books will be available for purchase, and ample parking is shared with St. Thomas’ UCC.
