Level 2 - Musicality - Nick and Lauren
WHO: We will be building up from Level 1 foundations. Here we will be introducing challenging patterns, musicality, and strengthening what you already know. You have likely completed at least 4 series in the past.
WHAT: Sure, we're dancing to the great music of Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman or Cab Calloway or Billie Holiday... but what does it mean to be musical in your dancing? Join Nick and Lauren as they take you through what they think about on this subject and take a few ideas to bring a new shine to your dancing.
Topics Covered may include but are not limited to: rhythm, melody, macro musicality, micro musicality, phrasing, call and response, play, matching energy and lag.
