Before Rear Window and Psycho, master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock reignited the thriller genre in Dial M for Murder. When former tennis star Tony Wendice (Ray Milland) learns that his socialite wife Margot (Grace Kelly) is having an affair, he concocts a murder plot to gain her hefty inheritance. After his plot goes awry leaving Margot alive, Tony must outwit the police, his unsuspecting wife, and her lover.
