Join me for my degree recital at NEIU. On Thursday Nov. 19, I will be defending my master's thesis in a lecture recital at NEIU's Recital Hall. The theme is classical music done in the jazz idiom. I will open the program by playing three well-known classical pieces and their lesser-known jazz adaptations. To capstone the recital, I will be playing George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue."
