Hampshire roots collective @WashedOutParade launch their debut album, 'Ragged Mile', a collection of genre-spanning originals tunes packed full of stories, styles and voices.Joined by Portsmouth singer-songwriter Megan Linford & band, with a special guest TBA!

WASHED OUT PARADE
The Washed Out Parade are a roots collective from Hampshire, UK, specialising in heartwarming and footstomping originals that cover blues, jazz, folk, country, Americana, soul, gospel and something entirely their own.
Since forming in late 2023, they've played at a number of renowned nights and festivals on the circuit, from the New Forest Folk Festival to The Magic Teapot Gathering to Future Folk.
Their debut album, 'Ragged Mile', was recorded in the Autumn/Winter of 2024 at Sickroom Studios, produced by Owen Turner (Brown Horse, Chris TT), and is released on Monday 7th April 2025.

Megan Linford is a roots musician whose calming, heartfelt sound is perfect for any audience. With ten years of performing under her belt, she has a deep understanding of the beauty of folk music, and her unique style is sure to inspire you. In addition to writing her own music, Megan promotes and hosts monthly folk nights in her hometown of Portsmouth, providing a warm, welcoming environment for musicians to share their love of the folk and roots sounds.
Megan has supported folk artists such as The Oyster Band, Flossy Mallavaile, Emily Barker and Marry Waterson, Dan Bettridge and Luke Jackson. Having the privlige of playing many famous venues and Festivals such as; Victorious Festival, Wickham Festival, The Wedgewood Rooms, the Brook, Sebright arms - London, Castle Hotel - Manchester, The Pottery - Farnham and many more!
