The Bakery Atlanta presents ‘Rage Becomes Her’ curated by Hannah Hendricks and Chrysta Avers.'Rage Becomes Her' is a two-day exhibition that aims to highlight emotions that women, gender non-conforming, and trans folks are shamed for feeling due to their identity. We are often told that our anger is irrational, we are overly emotional, and taught from a young age that expression of our feelings will be used negatively against us. 'Rage Becomes Her' aims to validate, uplift, and celebrate the feelings we are told to ignore and get over.
With over 60+ artists, live entertainment, a market area, and topo chico based cocktails, you won't want to miss this!
This show will also serve as a fundraiser for @free99fridge. A portion of all work sold will be used to create hygiene packs and supply food to community fridges.
