For the October Networking Workshop, we will be back at Powerhouse 27 studio!
Powerhouse 27 is a premium sound stage located near the Genesee Brewery. For those of you that used to attend RAFAS or RMM meetings at RCC, this is the same area.
For those who have STILL not attended the monthly networking event, this is a chance to put Western and Central NY filmmakers in contact with other local filmmakers.
It's a simple format that works quite well. We all go around the room, say out name, list our film hats and which projects we're currently working on. Then, a film-related question is posed to the group, and we all get a chance to offer our perspective.
Then, we break up, and everyone gets a chance to talk shop with anyone they want to. This is where you can recruit for your project or get recruited to work on someone else's project.
All this, plus we get to learn about Powerhouse 27's operations and standing as one of the most sought after studios to film at in the region.
