The Future of Air Power: The Royal Air Force since 1980 and Beyond.
Hosted at the Royal Air Force Museum, London, the two-day conference will explore the complex ways in which air forces have adapted to the changing threats in a globalised world since the 1980s. Speakers will cover topics relating to air forces, their personnel and technologies, the economies and societies with which they interact, the conflicts in which they have engaged, and the global context with which they are connected.
The Conference runs from Thursday 5 September through Friday 6 September, starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm on both days.
Location
This hybrid conference will be hosted in-person at the RAF Museum’s London site in the Lecture Theatre. The cost of attending the conference in-person for both days is £60; this covers registration, refreshments and lunch for both days.
The RAF Museum is making up to one third of the Conference tickets available at a concession price of £40. Concession tickets are intended for students, retired delegates and those who define themselves as being on a limited budget. Registration is required via Digitickets.
As the Conference commences before the Museum’s standard opening time, we ask attendees to enter via the low gate which connects the main car park to the outdoor space in front of Hangars 3, 4 and 5.
