The creative process we teach is rooted in our extensive experience in the fashion industry and draws inspiration from various creative fields, including art, cinema, design, and music.

Our lectures cover these diverse disciplines, providing you with the tools and insights necessary to develop your unique hair identity. You will learn how to translate different moods and inspirations into modern hairstyles, enhancing your creativity and technical skills.

As you explore a variety of techniques and innovative concepts, you will gain the confidence to experiment and push the boundaries of your work and create stunning looks that truly reflect your artistic vision.

The Radio Education team joining us in Australia are;

1. Adriano - Head of Radio Education and divides his time between teaching, working on editorial projects and salon collections and cutting on the salon floor where he has built a loyal clientele. With over 14 years of experience, he specialises in cutting and styling hair.
2. Birte – Art Director and Educator for Radio who has been with the team since 2016. Her work embodies the creative spirit and forward-thinking vision of Radio. Birte is both in salon and training locally in the UK, internationally or on stage at the Davines WWHT sharing her specialities of cutting and styling.
3. Ben – Senior Art Director & Winner of Davines Talent Greenhouse 2024 – Ben works to create colour to compliment the haircut working in the salon, educator and editorial space. Ben will also be taking the stage at our upcoming WWHT in Valencia for his own show.

OVERVIEW

Tuesday 1st September: 6:30pm - 8:30pm - Evening Look & Learn

The Radio Artistic Team will take the stage to showcase a dynamic fusion of precision cutting and innovative colour, reflecting Radio's modern approach to hair while honouring the signature heritage of their style. Renowned for its inspirational approach to hairstyling, Radio draws influence from different creative worlds - including cinema, music, and art - transforming these references into distinctive hair concepts.

Wednesday 2nd September: 9:30am - 4pm - Full Day Workshop

Dive into the inspiration behind our looks from the night before. From precision cutting to innovative colour placement and contemporary styling techniques. We'll be working closely with mood boards, sharing our creative process, and using these visual references to craft modern, wearable looks. The focus is on designing versatile, salon-ready looks that reflect a fresh, contemporary perspective, all through the lens of Radio Education's distinctive aesthetics.
