Hello Rad Fat Friends!We'd like to invite you to be in community together for Rad Fat Chat. This is a space for body liberation. It's tough being fat online because we're not all there - so let's embody our collectiveness and see what happens.
There is no specific plan for this evening. Doors open at 6:45. We'll be there until 9ish. We'll provide some refreshments. Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable.
Please keep this a low-scent experience.
Since there will be eating/drinking, this will be mask optional.
This is a space for fat liberation, and our liberation can not happen without liberation for all. We will be anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and inclusive of how we show up and are with each other.
This event is being held in the community space next door to Wildfire Bookshop (it's called the Literary Lounge). It has soft lighting, a variety of seating, a concrete floor, and windows to the street where people can see inside (we can pull down a screen if that is preferred). There is a single-user bathroom with a toilet and a sink.
There is a bus stop on the opposite side of 12th Street and about 1/2 a block down hill from the shop.
There is metered parking on 12th Street until 8PM.
Free parking can be found in the alley beside the store and on the residential streets surrounding the store.
