About this Event

On behalf of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Tasmanian State Committee, we are delighted to invite you to the 2026 Tasmanian Annual Scientific Meeting and Awards Night Dinner in Hobart, Tasmania.

This year's theme is Stronger Together: advancing surgery in Tasmania through education, collaboration, and the pursuit of surgical excellence.

The program brings together a diverse group of speakers and topics, offering insights that we hope will inspire, inform and energise. Whether you are a long-standing colleague or a first-time attendee, we trust you will find this meeting a valuable and rewarding experience.

We also acknowledge the importance of cultural safety in surgical practice and education. This meeting includes content that supports your Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including activities that meet the College’s CAPE (Cultural Safety, Addressing Health Inequity, Professionalism and Ethical Practice) requirements.

In the evening, we will celebrate surgical excellence at the Awards Night dinner which is included in your registration.

Whether you're looking to earn CPD, hear from leading experts, explore emerging topics or connect with Tasmania's surgical community, there are plenty of reasons to be part of the conversation.
