  • Are you seeking a safe environment to learn more about diversity inclusion and belonging? A place where discovery leads to clarity growth and healing?
  • A judgment-free zone where your feelings about impact are witnessed and acknowledged?
  • Do you want to help build an authentic community but don’t know where or how to start?

I invite you to join Dr. Georgia Prescott Gretchen Jung and I in a new class designed to give us tools to do effective anti-racist work. To anchor our study we'll use Esther A. Armah's book "EMOTIONAL JUSTICE: A Roadmap for Racial Healing."

Each week we will hear a contributor from the Global Majority and a white contributor share their thoughts on the book:

  • Dr. Soni Cantrell-Smith CSL Spiritual Leader
  • Tracy Brown Author of “Stained Glass Spirit” CSL Prof. Practitioner
  • Debby Irving Author of “Waking Up White" Racial Justice Educator (also co-founder of the 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge)
  • Rev. Dereca Blackmon (Stanford University Former Assistant Vice Provost and Executive Director of the Diversity and First Generation Office) (EBCRS)
  • Rev. Abigail Shairer (CSL Seattle)
  • Aimeé Zenzele-Barnes (Diversity & Equity Manager City of Sacramento)
  • and others.

It will be fun maddening hopeful and most of all give us the tools we need to deal with the untreated trauma from the oppressive systems that created the deadly fictions of white superiority and Black inferiority

Registration for the class is now open.

“I experienced deep transformational healing the first time I heard Esther Armah speak.” Rev. Brynde’ Lambert

“The aha’s and uh-oh’s just keep coming.” Dr. Georgia PrescottA healing circle’s purpose is to reaffirm the humanity in all of us. And it lifts up what unites us rather than what divides us; while discovering respecting and honoring the unique experiences of each person. A trained racial healing practitioner or a pair facilitates the circles leading the dialogues with a provocative question that can lead to generative conversations throughout the process.
