Pay tribute to our veterans by joining the race to fight senior hunger!Meals on Wheels Spokane and Fairmount Memorial Association have joined forces once again to host the annual Race to Feed our Veterans 5K. The event will take place on Sunday, November 10th, and aims to raise funds to provide meals to veteran clients in need. Participants can look forward to a fun and rewarding experience while supporting a great cause. Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
What to expect:
Join us for a scenic walk/run through Fairmount's Riverside Memorial Park and the tree-lined hills of Greenwood Memorial Terrace. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting Meals on Wheels Spokane, ensuring that no senior veteran in our community goes hungry this year. This event is suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels, from children to adults. Dogs are more than welcome to join in on the fun as well. Come out and support a great cause while enjoying a day of outdoor activity!
After completing the race, attendees can enjoy a complimentary beer and delicious chili from South Fork Public House. This is a great opportunity to socialize and connect with other participants in a lovely outdoor environment.
