Race for Resilience

Race for Resilience is a 5k run/walk throughout Malden park, involving mental and physical obstacles to in the end acheive real resilience while supporting the Canadian Mental Health Association of Windsor-Essex.

R4R is a day for fun with friends and family, the event is team-based but is still open to individuals as we all have the same objective, and that's giving back to the community and most imprtantly the mental health of our peers, coworkers, bosses, neighbours and ourselves.

There will be 3 competitions taking place:

1. Most charitable team: Event bright has an option to donate to your team name and get others to do the same!
2. Fastest team: R4R is structured like a cross-country race where the lower you place, the less points you accumulate for your team, the less points the better, like golf! (we will only count the first 5 placements from your team)
3. Most spirited team: Think outside the box, or inside our t-shirt design tent!

Besides a thrilling race we will also have a treats for your delight, and a speaker from CMHA Windsor-Essex to teach us about how important the stance we are taking truly is.

Donations through our websit are highly encouraged, but we've got options! Race for Resilience will have a spot to donate physical items towards CMHA Windsor-Essex's Comfort Closet initiative. Additionally we will have a donation box at the event for paper and coins! Feel free to do one, two, or all three!

• Toothbrushes & toothpaste
• Shampoo & Conditioner
• Bodywash & bar soap
• Socks & underwear
• Cold weather wear (hats, gloves, scarves)
• Light cleaning supplies (disinfectant, wipes/sprays, sponges, paper towel)
