This discussion, Beyond the Diagnosis: Black Mothers, Autism, Advocacy & Self-Care, will explore the stories of fifteen Black mothers of autistic sons. Through personal narratives, research, and cultural insight, the book illuminates the joys, challenges, advocacy, and extraordinary resilience of mothers who love without limits and advocate without pause.
We are honored to welcome Jeannine E. Dingus-Eason, Dean of the College of Humanities, Sciences and Education at Rider University, a Rochester native, and our Soror.
