RAAHI x Dreamland: Qawwali at the Museum

RAAHI x Dreamland presents an outdoor event designed to immerse you in musical storytelling, highlighting our cultural roots from east to west. Join us for an afternoon celebrating South Asian music and art. Celebrate the narratives passed down through generations, clapping along to qawwali and connecting through the universal language of music.

Dreamland Art Exhibit: Stroll through the Anchorage galleries to view Dreamland, the exhibition, with showcasing artists: Baljit Singh, Yazan Salameh, Karim Machado-Aman, Krystal Ball, Par Nair.

About RAAHI: RAAHI & Co was birthed from the idea of bridging the generational gap between our elders and youth through music. Our mission involves reclaiming the sound of qawwali, folk and semi-classical music in the West, in a way that authentically links us to our roots. As members of the South Asian diaspora, we share a deep yearning to reestablish a connection with our heritage. "RAAHI", translating to traveler, extends an invitation for you to embark on a cultural journey with us, as we travel through sound.

Tickets: Tickets will be checked prior to entering the sitting grounds. Please have tickets ready on hand. No tickets will be available for purchase on site. Online sales only!
Tickets are non-refundable.

Seating: General admission, no numbered seats.

Dress Code: Be comfortable and enjoy the show. Traditional, western or both :) Add a little South Asian touch, recommended.

Parking: There is some free parking available but we encourage you to carpool.

Photo/Video: There will be photographers and videographers capturing content throughout the night.

Drinks/Snacks: There will be light refreshments and snacks available for purchase.
