About this Event
Yin Yoga, Equine Connection, Creative Journaling
Join us for a unique and transformative workshop that combines the healing power of equine therapy, the calming practice of yin yoga, and the expressive art of creative journaling. This one-of-a-kind experience is designed to guide you on a journey of self-discovery, reflection, and deep connection with both yourself and our gentle equine partners.
In the sweet and inspiring setting of Forget Me Not Farm, you’ll be introduced to the intuitive wisdom of horses and their ability to mirror our emotions and intentions. Through guided equine- assisted activities with equine coach Kim Seng, you’ll learn to build trust, set boundaries, and embrace vulnerability while working alongside these magnificent beings.
During the gentle yin yoga sessions, Lisa Willett will help you explore mindful movements and long stretches to release tension and open up channels of energy, allowing for a deeper connection with the inner self. Yin yoga targets fascia, which will encourage relaxation and self-awareness as you tune into your body and emotions.
Complementing these powerful experiences, the creative journaling sessions will provide a safe and expressive outlet for your thoughts, feelings, and insights. With art materials provided, you’ll capture your experiences, emotions, and newfound revelations in a personal visual journal, fostering a deeper connection with your inner creativity and authentic self.
From your own wellspring of knowledge and creativity you will learn and unlearn, discover or refine your life’s expression with purpose. You will take away the insights and messages you received from Yoga, horses, nature and creating an ongoing vision through art journaling. Highlights of the day’s activities:
- Embodying your five senses to be fully present in the moment, mindfulness
- Visualize your future through expression of self
- Play and let go, express yourself with no judgment
- Practicing being rather than doing, deepen your creative self
- Cultivating a relationship with self, compassion and appreciation
No prior experience with horses, yoga, or journaling is necessary. This workshop is open to all levels, and our experienced facilitators will guide you every step of the way. Come join us for “Release & Receive” and leave with a heart full of gratitude, a mind at peace, and a journal of newfound wisdom.
