The Masterworkers believe that enjoying classical music shouldn’t require you to dress in your Sunday best, sit still for hours at a time, read hundreds of books about Messiaen and Mozart, or travel to central London.
Following their May performance of the Trout Quintet at Lorrimore Square, professional musicians from London's top orchestras will play Elgar's epic Piano Quintet, together with pieces for piano and strings by Mozart, Brahms and Handel-Halvorsen, with a few extra surprises thrown in.
Come and enjoy the calm oasis of St Paul's Lorrimore Square, the great acoustic, the beautiful Blűthner piano, and a glass of wine or beer from the bar, which will be open throughout the performance.
This eclectic and family-friendly concert will be introduced with tongue-in-cheek wit and will appeal to seasoned concert-goers and the classical-curious alike.
