Join fellow Commoners/neighbours for a no-pressure work party to revitalize our much-loved public space! More gardens, less gentrification!
Yay commons, nay colonization!
Woohoo calendula, boo condos!
We will be doing the following nifty things:
-Adding soil
-Painting planters
-Planting veg
-Watering plants
-Weeding
-Making signage
-rebuilding beds/building more of 'em
-listening to good tunes
-drinking iced tea
-chatting together and having a generally good time!
-Re-commoning
We will be bringing extra supplies if you wanna be part of these activities but feel free to bring your own spades, seeds, playlists and snacks to share!
This event will be happening on the unceeded territory of the Mi'kmaq who are the rightful stewards of this stolen land and have held it through time out of mind.
