Join quilt artist and instructor Margo Ellis for a fun and practical 4-week workshop focused on creating handmade bags and accessories you'll actually use. Designed for all ages with basic sewing experience, this hands-on class will guide you through making a versatile crossbody purse with a coordinating wallet, as well as a simple tote bag perfect for groceries, errands, and everyday use. The purse features a zippered pocket, back slip pocket, and comfortable crossbody strap with room for your wallet, cellphone, and other daily essentials. Along the way, you'll learn techniques for working with zippers, straps, interfacing, and bag construction while building confidence with your sewing machine. Margo is also happy to provide guidance on quilting projects you may wish to bring to class.Classes meet 12:30PM to 3:30PM on Tuesdays beginning June 9th until June 30th, 2026.
