Take the Mystery Out of Machine Quilting
Have you pieced a beautiful quilt top, only to find yourself unsure how to quilt it? This hands-on workshop is designed to build your confidence and help you master quilting with a walking foot.
You'll explore a range of walking foot quilting techniques, with plenty of opportunity to practise before creating a collection of eight quilting samples to take home as a handy reference for future projects. Techniques include crosshatch, matchstick, skinny diamond, orange peel, and more.
This is a technique-focused class, making it perfect for quilters who want to expand their skills and gain the confidence to finish their own quilts. Please note that some preparation of materials will be required before the workshop, and full instructions will be provided in advance.
You will need a sewing machine, walking foot (this is essential), basic sewing supplies, threads and fabrics. Detailed requirements will be emailed to you in advance of the class.
