Learn basic quilting techniques on this short course from Remode CollectiveHave you ever looked at a beautiful quilt or quilted accessory and wished you could make something like that? Create a basic quilting block and experiment with colour and geometry to discover the versatility of quilting and patchwork techniques.
Maybe you could make a table runner or table mats? Or why not come along with your own ideas and Remode Collective will help you turn them into beautiful items to treasure or to give as handmade gifts?
By the end of the course, you will learn how to:
- Design a quilted block
- Cut out the relevant shapes, blocks and backing
layout the design
- Batting and backing the quilt
- How to bind the final design
- How to finish the quilt professionally
- Learn the relevant care guidelines for your finished quilt

This is a two session course, running on Sundays 18th and 25th January (2pm - 4.30pm).
