'Quilt Til You Wilt' Quilting & Sewing Retreats

Join us for five fun filled days of quilting and sewing with friends at River Rocks Landing Resort & Venue, beautifully situated on the Coosa River in Gadsden, Alabama (1 River Road, Gadsden, AL 35901). Retreat dates: September 14-18, 2026. Early setup: Sewing stations may be set up on September 13th beginning at 1:00 p.m.
To book your stay, please reserve your campsite, RV rental, tiny house, container home, or tree house directly through the park office at 256 543 7111. Be sure to mention that you’re attending the quilt retreat and request a site near the Bay Lodge, where our sewing room is located. Please note: lodging is not included in the retreat price.
A discount is available for RV sites using the code Quilt 26. Tiny houses and other specialty rentals are also available, but they are managed separately and do not qualify for discounts.
If you prefer hotel accommodation, the Hampton Inn & Suites at 129 River Road—located just outside the park entrance—offers a special rate for our group. It’s a perfect opportunity to share a room with a friend and keep expenses down. To receive the discounted rate, contact Elizabeth Furhman, General Manager, at 256 546 2337 to book your room directly.

What’s Included
• 25 tables available — first come, first served. No holds.
• Cutting stations, ironing stations, and design boards are
available throughout the room.
• $225 per person includes:
o Five days of sewing at The Bay Lodge
o Shop hop
o Optional group quilt block project
o Games, door prizes, and a few surprises
* Our traditional group dinner - Additional $20 for spouse or
guest attending the group dinner
Note: The group dinner is the only meal included in the retreat. All other meals are your responsibility. There is a restaurant at the park, and we will provide a list of recommended restaurants and grocery stores in the itinerary.
