I recently discovered a local non-profit organization called Foster + Heart. Their mission is “to ignite the hearts of our community to foster + meet the needs of children in foster care.” As quilters, we have a wonderful opportunity to bless these children by providing quilts to be given to the children as they enter foster care.
Beginning in September, I will be offering a FREE class on the third Tuesday of each month and JK Quilts has graciously offered their classroom. Each class will offer a new skill, technique or pattern adjusted for a baby size quilt to be donated. This month's pattern is TBD.
