Don’t throw your fabric scraps away! Turn those leftover strips, bindings, and chunks of fabric into fast (and fun) string blocks. In this workshop, you'll learn all about string blocks - what they are, how they are constructed, how to create designs through fabric choices, and how to use a foundation piecing technique to simplify making these blocks.Presented by Donna Edwards.
1:00-2:30. This portion is demonstration only and no sign up is required.
2:30-4:30: Participants will create their own quilt block to take home or donate to charity.
You must attend the instructional portion from 1:00-2:30 in order to sign up for the hands on portion. Sign-up required for the hands-on portion. Space is limited.
