Who: Plein Air Painters of the Southeast, PAP-SE, are hosting QuickDraw in Meyer Vogl Gallery,
250 River Landing Drive,
Daniel Island SC
with a members show of wet paintings done all during the week.
What is Plein air painting you ask? It’s a painting done on location, in the field and not in the studio.
What: A QuickDraw is a timed painting event where folks paint for a specific amount of time, spectators are invited to wander around and see the work being created, and at the end we come together for awards and some painting sales!

When:
October 17, 2026, 9-11am,
Judging at 11:30am,
Awards at 12:30pm

Why: PAP-SE is an organization of professional Plein Air painters bound by a common passion to promote the traditional methods of painting en Plein Air.
We also raise money for the Jonathan Green Maritime Cultural Center, by The University of South Carolina. We will be donating 10% percentage of all sales.
Registration:
Registration is online.
$35 registration fee for adults (18 and up)
$15 registration fee for kids (under 18) has been waived, members of PAPSE have paid to sponsor a young artist!
Awards will be given at 12:30pm
SALES:
Adults work can be available for sale. There will be a commission of 50% on any artwork sold.
The kids can sell their artwork if they like to anyone without a commission fee, however, the gallery cannot accept payment for kids artwork.
Miscellaneous:
The event is rain or shine, please be prepared to cover yourself and your artwork with an umbrella!
There will be no refunds of the registration payment.
PAP-SE members and volunteers will have hats on with our logo, find them if you have any questions or need help.
