In this 30-minute session, LGBTQ+ mxms openly discuss how to handle homophobia from extended family members.
Activities:
Experience Sharing: Mxms share personal stories of dealing with homophobia in the family.
Expert Advice: Explore strategies from family therapists and LGBTQ+ advocacy groups.
Role-Playing: Practice responses to homophobic comments or behaviors.
Support Network: Discuss ways to build a supportive network within and outside the family.
