Quick & Easy Indian Cooking
About this Event
Age Restrictions
For ages 18 & up
Description
If you love Indian food and have wondered how to recreate those flavors in your own home, this is the class for you! While the South Asian/Indian culinary diaspora is incredibly diverse, we’re here to lessen the intimidation factor and help you get to know the key spices, knife skills, essential sauces, and cooking methods to get you started.
We’ll pay homage to Madhur Jaffrey, multiple James Beard Award-winner known as the Godmother of Indian Cooking for introducing many people to Indian food in America. Using her approach, we’ll keep class fun, easy, and delicious at every turn. At the end of class everyone will get to sit down and enjoy a meal together.
You will be working in a small group. For ages 18 and up. 21 or older? You’ll enjoy a glass of wine or beer paired with your meal.
