Quest for the Lost Words

Join us on Sunday 16th August for a day of magic at Beach Meadow, just above Porthluney beach.
There are two performances - 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
Once upon a time, children’s words began to vanish…slipping away like water on stone.
Dandelion gone!
Kingfisher gone!
Conker gone!
Inspired by The Lost Words, the best-selling nature book by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris, Cscape’s Quest for the Lost Words takes families on a fun, imaginative adventure to find these missing words and bring them back to life.
Filled with dance, storytelling, music and playful discovery, this joyful show reconnects children with nature, wild places and the creatures who live there. Heart‑warming, hopeful and full of wonder, it’s a celebration of the natural world and a reminder that every word — and every species — matters.
There is no seating at the event, so please feel free to bring a chair or blanket for the grass.
