QUER DURCH 2026

Das Symposium LEHRPLAN QUER DURCH nimmt ausgehend von fachspezifischen Kontexten gemeinsame Themen, Perspektiven und Visionen in den Blick und lotet diese für die Bildungsarbeit im 21. Jahrhundert und deren Herausforderungen aus. Die 6. Ausgabe des Symposiums widmet sich dem Bildungsziel Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung.

Wir möchten Sie einladen, inter-/ transdisziplinäre Schnittmengen, Nahtstellen, aber auch Leerstellen als Ansatzpunkte für eine nachhaltige Prozessentwicklung für Fachdidaktik im Kontext von Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung zu diskutieren.

Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung

Die UNO beschloss 2015 die Sustainable Development Goals, welche nachhaltige Entwicklung auf wirtschaftlicher, ökologischer und sozialer Ebene anstreben. Die UNESCO nennt acht Themenbereiche, ein Zusammenwirken derer für das 4. SDG, Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung, unumgänglich sei, darunter etwa die Gleichstellung von Frau und Mann, Umweltschutz und kulturelle Vielfalt. Die von der UNESCO ebenfalls formulierten pädagogischen Prinzipienumfassen z.B. ein interdisziplinär-fächerübergreifendes Zusammenwirken der Fächer, Werte- und Problemlösungsorientiertheit und eine methodische Vielfalt. Das Bundesministerium für Bildung sieht Bildung als Voraussetzung für und integralen Bestandteil von nachhaltiger Entwicklung. Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung müsse daher als Anliegen und regulative Idee an der ganzen Schule gesehen werden: „Für das als Standard geforderte gemeinsame Denken der ökologischen, ökonomischen und sozialen Dimension sind cross-curriculare Bezüge von großer Bedeutung.”

Welche Ziele verfolgt das Symposium?

Die interdisziplinäre Komponente ist ein zentrales Kriterium für die Auswahl der Beiträge, ebenso wie Bezüge zum Lehrplan (für Lehrende in Österreich). Für die Einreichungen und Präsentationen ist die Vermittlungskomponente für uns besonders interessant. Die Beiträge können sich auf alle Fächer beziehen und diese miteinander verknüpfen, in Bezug setzen, in Dialog bringen … Im Sinne von “learning by doing” möchten wir dabei besonders Theorie mit Praxis und Unterricht verknüpfen. Wir freuen uns dahingehend besonders über Einreichungen, die Vortrag und Workshop kombinieren.

An wen richtet sich das Symposium?

Wir freuen uns auf außergewöhnliche und vielfältige Präsentationen von Herangehensweisen von Studierenden, Lehrer*innen, Mentor*innen und Lehrenden von Universitäten und Hochschulen, aber auch von anderen Akteur*innen im fachdidaktischen Feld, speziell auch jungen Forschenden.

Lehrer*innen können das Symposium als Fortbildung über das Programm der Pädagogischen Hochschule Wien besuchen.

Based on subject-specific contexts, the LEHRPLAN QUER DURCH symposium focuses on common topics, perspectives and visions and explores these for educational work in the 21st century and the challenges it faces. The 6th edition of the symposium is dedicated to the educational goal of education for sustainable development.

We would like to invite you to discuss inter-/ transdisciplinary intersections, interfaces, but also gaps as starting points for a sustainable process development for subject didactics in the context of Education for Sustainable Development.

Education for sustainable development

In 2015, the UN adopted the Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to achieve sustainable development on an economic, environmental and social level. UNESCO lists eight thematic areas that are essential for the 4th SDG, education for sustainable development, including gender equality, environmental protection and cultural diversity. The pedagogical principles also formulated by UNESCO include, for example, interdisciplinary and cross-curricular cooperation between subjects, a focus on values and problem-solving and methodological diversity. The Federal Ministry of Education sees education as a prerequisite for and integral part of sustainable development. Education for sustainable development must therefore be seen as a concern and regulative idea for the whole school: “Cross-curricular references are of great importance for the joint thinking of the ecological, economic and social dimensions required as standard.”

What are the aims of the symposium?

The interdisciplinary component is a central criterion for the selection of contributions, as are references to the curriculum (for teachers in Austria). For the submissions and presentations, the mediation component is of particular interest to us. The contributions can relate to all subjects and link them with each other, relate them to each other, bring them into dialog ... In the sense of “learning by doing”, we would particularly like to link theory with practice and teaching. In this respect, we are particularly pleased to receive submissions that combine lectures and workshops.

Who is the symposium aimed at?

We are looking forward to extraordinary and diverse presentations of approaches by students, teachers, mentors and lecturers from universities and colleges, but also by other actors in the field of didactics, especially young researchers.

Teachers can attend the symposium as further training via the program of the Vienna University of Teacher Education.
